		<description>Michelangelo's works are absolutely gorgeous (especially close-up: I've seen several of his works including the David and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel).  It really is amazing how he challenged the Catholic Church, especially during his lifetime when it had significantly more influence than it does today, at least I think so.

As great as he is, Donatello was always my favorite ninja turtle. :)</description>

		<description>This is written very well and I think the analysis of the paintings were well thought however I disagree that Michelangelo is the greatest individual because he may have influenced the art world but his art did not seriously change government or other religions. The greatest individual is someone who is well rounded a person that has influenced societies outside of there own. I cannot find evidence to justify this.
